When we started this comprehensive online guide of Dumaguete, Cafe Antonio was already known for its excellent coffee. It was even touted to be "the best coffee shop in Dumaguete City". Serving only the finest espresso in this University Town. Not to mention its excellent ambiance. Rustic and laid-back. Reminiscent of the old Spanish touch of Dumaguete City.
As the years passed, Cafe Antonio Dumaguete has evolved from just a coffee shop to becoming a full-blown restaurant. It is not scraping off its excellent coffee but instead it's adding to its product line more mouth-watering meals.
Yesterday we had the privilege to witness their product/food shoot and sample their oh-so-delicious meals. Since Cafe Antonio is our featured restaurant for this month, we included some of the food that we tried.
Oh-so-yummy Baby Back Ribs with the equally mouth watering Mexican Rice.
We think you can even eat the rice without any viand. =)
Fried chicken wrapped in Pandan leaves - This is finger lickin' good too!
Sweet and Sour Fusion with Herbs
Whole Wheat Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich - We were a little shocked with the price.
So affordable and fills your tummy like a pounder!
Banana Crepe Overload - Now this is truly a Crazy Crepe!
Now that's not just any coffee shop. Its a diner's haven. No. A diner's heaven! Where else can you find uber delicious food and excellent coffee all in one roof! Raise the roof Cafe Antonio. Nag level up ka na!
(thanks to Urich Calumpang for the excellent photos!)
maka laway!
